2018 awards on meteorological scientific research unveiled

On October 24, 2018 atmospheric science fundamental research achievement award, meteorological science and technology progress achievement award, and the sixth Zou Jingmeng meteorological scientific and technological talent prize were unveiled. 4 programs are conferred the first and second prizes of atmospheric science fundamental research achievement award; 12 programs are presented with first and second prizes of meteorological science and technology progress achievement award; 5 scholars in meteorological science and technology field won the sixth Zou Jingmeng meteorological scientific and technological talent prize.

Che Huizheng, researcher from Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences; Sun Ying, researcher from Beijing Climate Center; Li Qingxiang, professor from Sun Yat-Sen University;Han Wei, senior engineer from National Meteorological Center;and Qi Linlin, senior engineer from Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force won the sixth Zou Jingmeng meteorological scientific and technological talent prize. China Meteorological Society organized the recommendation and review work.(Nov. 1)
