Affected by the strong winds brought by the Mongolian cyclone and the subsequent cold high pressure system, a widespread Sand and Dust storm swep across Mongolia and the northern region of China from March 10th to 11th, 2025. Parts of western Inner Mongolia in China and areas of Mongolia experienced sandstorms with visibility dropping below 1 kilometer. As the Mongolian cyclone moved eastward and weakened, the extensive dust storm weather gradually subsided on March 12th. (reported by RSMC-ASDF BEIJING on 12th March ).
